Casual Cook/chef (20 Hours/Week)
About Us
We are a busy, friendly local restaurant focused on fresh food and great service; we are open Monday - Saturday from 5.30 pm. We pride ourselves on a supportive team environment and a great work-life balance. Located in the beautiful Woombye.
The Role
We are looking for a long-term, experienced, and reliable Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team for approx. 20 hours per week. You will cook service orders and keep the kitchen clean and safe.
• Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday - Saturday, generally with no late nights).
• Type: Casual (competitive hourly rate based on experience)
• $35 - $40 including penalty rates (NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS).
• Location: Woombye
Key Responsibilities
• Cook meals to high standards during service.
• Order stock daily.
• Follow kitchen cleaning and safety rules.
• Work well with other team members in a fast-paced setting.
What We Are Looking For
• Proven experience as a cook or chef.
• Food safety knowledge.
• Reliable, clean, and organized work habits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
