It’s THE LONTANO, designed and named after the brilliant Bris/Meanjin duo Lontano, led by the rather wonderful Anthony Dettori and Roz Pappalardo. Friends, we are sending a huge wave of Cave gratitude to our fine friend Andrew Palmer, the host of our weekly and free open mic session Close Enough for Country! This much loved Sunday series is coming up to its landmark 5th birthday in June and it's been thrilling to see so many artists make their stage debut, share new songs and hear amazing performances from the featured bands. We're also so grateful to the warm, welcoming community of music listeners that have been enjoying what's turned into a beautiful Sunday afternoon tradition here at The Cave, enjoying relaxed drinks, new music and of course our always delicious pizzas!

Cave Inn Experimental featuring the sounds of…

BOTBORG is a global audio-visual duo that fuses raw electronics with immersive sound and color. Using custom gear, they craft live, multi-sensory performances that push the limits of technology.

REPTILE is the elusive project of Leif G and Ben H, Brisbane-based noise experimentalists since 2013. Rooted in deconstruction and improvisation, they create site-specific, ephemeral performances.

PSYCHEDELIC MICROWAVES is the ultra-rare project of Dylan and Skye, founders of Experimental Tuesdays. Known for their sparse performances—last seen in 2018—they're a hidden gem in the experimental scene.
