Hi y'all. We have a bunch of new followers. So let me introduce myself. I'm Sam, the face behind The Sugar Kitchen, TSK. Our team includes two legends mya beencke and Kate Edwards who unlike me, hate being photographed 😆🧁☕️🍰
If you're new here, welcome! I'm so happy you've found this little corner of the internet or stumbled upon our wonderful cake cafe in Woopi.
I'm a cake decorator, baker, coffee lover, and the person behind every cake. Based in beautiful Woolgoolga NSW.
I started The Sugar Kitchen in 2011 to help put myself through university. Earned myself a first class honours degree in Archaeology. Then decided to make cakes full-time. I moved to Sydney and worked at Planet Cake and Celebration cakes they trained me up from "ganache bitch" to making cakes for P!NK and many wonderful humans.
I caked so hard my shoulders were uninsurable according to my health insurance.
I nearly bought Celebration cakes Sydney. But my husband and I decided to move from Bondi back home.
I wanted to spoil my hometown with edible wonders.
To create beautiful cakes that become part of life's most special memories.
Whether it's a wedding, birthday or baby shower. I believe every celebration deserves a little magic.
When I'm not covered in buttercream, you'll usually find me spending time with my family and dogs on my little farm dreaming up new cake designs, or enjoying a good coffee around town.
