It’s with a cocktail of disappointment, gratitude and splash of prudence that I announce I will not be proceeding with The Journeyman Tour featuring Brian J Cano.
I have lived with the project for over a year now and will always be grateful for the people who trusted me, believed in me and joined me as partners and supporters.
When the program started to emerge it became increasingly clear that delivering a tour with a range of experiences that was both accessible and sustainable was a challenge.
Above all else I wanted a program that would connect people and feel like a full experience. This was something I didn’t want to compromise.
While the financial and operational factors were leading this decision, there were some other factors. This project had become a personal ambition of mine, one last big paranormal adventure, maybe a comeback, maybe a swansong, maybe a better story. Over time as my ghost stories began to haunt me less and less, I found those motivations weren’t as important any more. My story is my story.
While I am disappointed and sorry to disappoint any and all who were planning on joining the fun this, in a way, is the essence of The Journeyman. Being bold, being curious and always learning.
I wish only the best for Brian moving forward and have told him I look forward to the day we can cheers to everything that didn’t come through and everything that happened instead…the exciting part is we don’t know the latter just yet.
