As I get older, I (as we all do) reminisce about why I am where I am. What led me to this place right now? These are tiny snapshots of why Country means so much to me. Why I endeavour to educate people on the importance of embracing
what our elders teach us. They were here first. Listen, learn. Never forget.
I am so lucky! I grew up in Birchip. A tiny country town in the Mallee I went to school with the same 30 kids (from kindy to high school). I was on the tractor with Dad. I rode horses. I learnt to shoot. We hunted. We used what was around us. My grandfather was Fisheries and Wildlife. He brought home all the animals. He built a house on the side of a mountain with all recyclable materials (navy ship bunks and a door from Pentridge!).
Meez On Plus is 12 years old but 50 years in the making. Embrace where you came from

So, we got these beauties today! And met the makers, and got some feathers, and learnt how to extract emu egg with a bike pump. 710 g per egg!
