Last night we had a young guy steal from the Bottlemart in Evans Head. He is wearing very bright blue sneakers. We will be reporting this to the police. We also have other names related to him and the theft. If you know him or have any information regarding these youths please let us or the police know. It’s important to report any incidents to the police.

The role will include shifts across the bar, bistro and bottle shop, so we’re after someone who’s happy to jump in wherever needed.

Ideally, you’ll have hospitality experience and be confident working independently and closing the hotel on your own when required.

You’ll need:

We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to take a leading role in our established pub kitchen in Woodburn.

This isn't the usual hospitality roster.
Work four days. Have three days off. Every week.

You'll lead day-to-day kitchen service with an established team of two other qualified chefs, an apprentice and additional casual kitchen staff.

We're looking for someone who:
• Can confidently run a busy service
• Has strong pub, club or restaurant experience
• Can lead and develop a kitchen team
• Takes pride in quality and consistency
• Wants to learn more about costing, ordering, rostering and kitchen management
• Is ready for the next step in their career

Strong senior Chef de Parties who are ready to step up are also encouraged to apply.

Not local? No problem.
We're happy to consider chefs from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney or interstate, and short-term accommodation can be provided while the right person gets established in the Northern Rivers.

🤠💃 WHAT. A. NIGHT! 💃🤠

COWGIRLS AUSTRALIA brought the line dancing magic to the pub last night and we absolutely LOVED it! 🕺🍻

From our locals to our awesome staff — and of course, the dance mums who were absolutely living their best lives — there were plenty of boots scootin’, laughs, questionable dance moves and good times all around! 😂👢

It was so great seeing the pub buzzing with people getting up, having a go and enjoying themselves. Line dancing is for EVERYONE ❤️

A huge thank you to COWGIRLS AUSTRALIA for bringing the fun and getting us all up on the dance floor! 🤠💃🍻
