Since 2012 two 'forever friends' decided they wanted to share their passion of caring for others, friendship and love of tea with their community. Their plan was to one day open a little Tea House for people to catch-up, read books and enjoy a good pot of tea (or two). In 2013 they attended the 'World Tea Expo', where they received training from 'the best of the best'. Full of excitement and passion they continued planning their journey, until later that year adversity struck...Sharn was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)—also referred to as Motor Neurone Disease (MND). As for Steep&Sip, there is not a day that they both don't think about the Tea House and are not giving up on the dream. Working their way back from the initial shock and devastation, the Tea House dream is not over. Our aim now if to help others discover the wonderful things that some from 'tea-getherness'.
