We're excited to welcome The Original Roman behind the bar for a spin every Friday in July.

You may know him as Touch Sensitive, and you may have even caught him during Thursday Night Jazz as part of the trio. This month, he's bringing us another side of his musical talents as he takes over the decks for Friday Sessions. We don't know exactly where he'll take us each week, but we know it's going to be a good time.

As always, your first round of limoncello margaritas are just $10 each. He'll be playing live from 6:30pm, and if you book from 7:30pm, your table is yours until close.

The Franco Pepe is here 🔥
Who says Cacio e Pepe is just for pasta... Garlic oil, fior di latte mozzarella, whipped ricotta, parmesan and cracked pepper on our 72 hour fermented dough. Fire cooked in the oven. This one is good.

Franco's menu is built around simple Mediterranean flavours. Quality is important to us, but we also believe good food doesn't need to be overly complicated.

June was huge! Thanks to everyone who joined us, and to the incredible musicians. We feel very lucky at Franco to be hosting such talented local artists and bringing live music to your dinner each Thursday.

For July, we're welcoming The Weatherbys, better known as Candice & Steve. Having made music together for more than 20 years, their sound blends neo-soul, jazz and contemporary R&B. Expect smooth vocals, soulful grooves and a few jazz favourites along the way.

The music is designed to be heard and enjoyed from every seat at Franco, with the added bonus of being able to watch the musicians if you're seated at the bar or in the main dining room. If that's what you're after, we recommend booking early as those tables are limited.

Kicks off at 6:30pm each week with two sets and a short break between. No matter what seating time you book, you'll catch some of the performance. 🎶

Some cracking wines pouring by the glass right now... including a Chablis! 🍷

Our wine list has just had a refresh. For us, it’s about offering something new to the Illawarra. We source wines from artisanal producers, mostly imported from Europe, and make them accessible to try at Franco.

You can view the full list online but here are a few favourites...

A Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc that’s fresh, citrus-driven and beautifully mineral. A Petit Chablis from one of Burgundy’s cult producers - you won’t find it on another restaurant’s wine list in the Illawarra. And a Tuscan Chianti with fresh cherry fruit, subtle spice and plenty of character.

We couldn't stop the fun there! Here's the next round of Franco's Friday Sessions — three weeks in a row starting this Friday.

Our resident DJ will be spinning from 6:30pm, soundtracking your dinner with groovy tunes into the night. And if you book a table from 7:30pm, it's yours until close.

The perfect excuse to get your friends together, or just an added bonus to your end-of-week dinner at Franco.
