Dear beloved Wasabi Figtree customers,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Thank you, to the 1200 people (and counting!) who signed the petition!
Thank you, to each and every single one of you who attended our closing party!
We are still in a state of disbelief that we will no longer be able to serve the lovely, beautiful and warm-hearted community of Figtree... we are numb and slowly recovering from the shock of it all.
Regardless, the support you all showed, leading up to, and on Thursday (11th-September-2025), will be a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
Our future is still uncertain, and we require some breathing time to absorb everything that happened so suddenly... but once we decide our future direction, we will be sure to let you know here on facebook.
We would also like to give special thanks to 'Andrew H' for starting the petition for us on our behalf. The initiative you took in organizing and setting up the petition page while we were stumbling and trying to keep it all together, had a huge impact in allowing us to inform and connect with everyone! We are in awe of what has been achieved in such a short amount of time; thank you Andrew for your selfless/ priceless contribution!
Sean and I are still relatively new to having an online presence; we are still very much 'newbies' and have much to learn; slowly, but surely, we hope to connect with you all and keep everyone informed with any updates and news regarding Wasabi's future in Figtree.
