🌟 Hello & Welcome! 🌟

Brrr it's been getting cold latley! ❄️
Whilst we take a little winter hiatus we thought we'd jump on and formally introduce ourselves as we have never done so before!

We’re so excited to have you here! Whether you’ve stumbled upon our market or have been following along for a while — thank you for being part of this journey with us.

Our names are Steph and Tash and we created the On the Border Community Market 9 years ago!

👋 A little bit about us:
We’re passionate about connecting our local community with handmade goods by supporting local makers with the public. Everything we have built for our market is with heart, purpose, and a sprinkle of joy.
We first started out as stall holders ourselves and wanted to bring a boutique market to Wodonga that had never been done before!
And that we did!
We originally thought we'd have 25 maybe 30 stalls at our very first market, but we exceeded our own expectations and had 80 stalls!
Over the years we grew, our largest market being 150 stalls and our smallest being 45 (during covid)

What you can expect to find at our market these days:
✨ An estimated 80 stall holders showcasing handmade, hand grown and beautiful items for sale, face painting for the whole family, snuggle with some cute fluffy animals at our petting zoo, live entertainment and musicians, hot coffee from local coffee baristas and occasionally visitors from themed characters!

🛍️ We always run on the first Sunday of the month from September to June (except for January due to the summer heat 🥵 and February which is our Twilight month) from 9am-1pm.
