The Secret Cup, Wodonga’s worst kept secret, is saying farewell!
Over 5 years on this exciting, adventurous project and business where we’ve had the absolute privilege to showcase some of this regions very best products, produce, musical and artistic talent, it’s time for us to move on to new pastures and more secrets! 😂
We will be closing the doors to what has been a successful and tumultuous venture to say the least! High street closures, bushfires and even a world wide pandemic has not swayed us and that was all thanks to the beautiful people of Wodonga, the Border and the North East.
Particular thanks (and words will never describe how much gratitude we have, ever), goes to our local communities unwavering support, our absolute star staff over the years (with special mention to our humble but brilliant Sam Noonan, who was the backbone to all our successes), and our families and friends who stood by us through all the ups and downs.
There are too many extra special people amongst our lovely, independent, local suppliers and the customers who made our hearts sing just by walking in the door. Tears and hugs (covid style lol) will be in abundance over our final days we are sure!
86a High Street itself, the old Bank Managers home, with its magnificent tall ceilings and old world charm, had us hooked from day one. It inspired the name, tucked back into an almost forgotten past of Wodonga. We were very proud to be it’s tenant and caretakers and we hope she will be shared with Wodonga in her glory for many more years in one form or another.
For all the laughs, warmth, births and deaths and milestones that we got to share with you all, thank you from our whole hearts. We will never forget all the special moments we’ve had the privilege to share with you all.
Our last day will be on the 21st of February before packing up and moving on to another exciting project. Our incredible team are all remaining with us until the end, with the exception of Kenepuru Keats (Kena), who is off to start her own journey at Deakin Uni very soon! Please help us show appreciation for all the TSC team do, as their loyalty to us and to you over our last couple of weeks, is quite simply an admirable display of pride in what we’ve all been a part of together.
And for those curious about what’s next, watch this space! After a well earned rest, we will absolutely include you all in our next project as soon as we have all our ducks in a row! 😁💗
Thank you everyone for being involved in all ways, in a vision of pride in our region, and quality in our deliverance. We will miss it all, but we look forward to more adventures xx
