Wingello Village Store

Wingello Village Store The meeting place in Wingello - Great Company, Cooking and Coffee In 2009 the store had its biggest transformation.
(2)

Since the Village began over 130 years ago, the Village store served the community with groceries and basic supplies. 100 years ago the Post Office was established in the store and is still provides full Post Office service. Upgrades to the store now mean a modern extensive kitchen, outdoor covered dining, barista quality coffee and a great array of satisfying, healthy, simply good food. And all for a reasonable price with great service and a friendly welcoming country atmosphere.

Our latest Menu of Many Delights. We have aded the option of Gluten Free buns and a yummy Florentine made from Gluten Free ingredients. All the usual excellent fare remains, of course.

Vale Ken McDonald.
Ken is the well loved local stonemason whose creations have been immortalised in "The Stonemason's Trail" established in July 2020. Ken was very generous with his time and was involved with many people in the Southern Highlands. This photo is from the opening of the largest statue "Ken's Cockatoo" at the Wingello Village Store.
It is well worth a small trip to explore the Southern villages and enjoy the creations of Ken McDonald, one of his legacies to the tapestry of the Southern Highlands. Link to the trail is in the first comment.

Our local Federal MP, Carol Berry, popped in to the store today to discuss Australia Post and the role of Licensed Post Offices in regional areas like Wingello. It was great being able to discuss our situation one on one.

Great to visit David Bruggeman at the Wingello Village Store today.

David and his family run a Cafe and General Store in the heart of the Wingello community, also offering postal services, groceries, newsagency supplies - and according to the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide, the best hamburgers in Australia!

If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend a visit to the wonderful Wingello Village Store!
