Wingello Village Store The meeting place in Wingello - Great Company, Cooking and Coffee In 2009 the store had its biggest transformation.

Since the Village began over 130 years ago, the Village store served the community with groceries and basic supplies. 100 years ago the Post Office was established in the store and is still provides full Post Office service. Upgrades to the store now mean a modern extensive kitchen, outdoor covered dining, barista quality coffee and a great array of satisfying, healthy, simply good food. And all for a reasonable price with great service and a friendly welcoming country atmosphere.

Long time resident of Wingello, Alfred Hagger, passed away on 19 October, aged 88 years old. Many locals will know Alfred (commonly known as Alf) from his inclusion in many local and community events over his 25+ years in Wingello. His passing will be felt by many of our Wingello community.
His funeral will be at the Lady Rose Funeral Home in Bowral on Monday 26 October at 11am.

A perfect spot for budding little train spotters.
We get a lot of train enthusiasts visiting Wingello. The long slight slope means any trains take a while to reach the station allowing fans to get a good look down the line. And lots of families enjoy the view too!

It's another busy day in Wingello tomorrow. If you live in Wingello you need to know what to do to prepare you and your family in case of bushfires. The easiest way to get started is to pop along to the Wingello Brigade tomorrow for the Get Ready Weekend starting at 9:30am and meet the team that has volunteered to help protect the village.
At 2:30pm pop in to the Hall and have a lovely afternoon at the Devonshire Tea organised by the Wingello Village Association.
