We're looking for a full time Cook / Chef to join our small team.

Your role will include:

Food preparation
Cooking and plating during service
Cleaning as necessary

Our menu is small and focused, but ex*****on must be to a high standard. Ideally you would be familiar with:

Meat cooking temperatures
Food safety and hygiene
Workflow in a busy restaurant

We are located close to public transport (train / tram) with private parking available if required.

Ideally you would have 2 years of experience working in a kitchen. The hours are set at 40 hours per week (we do not exceed this unless arranged & agreed to cover for other members with extra pay). Rosters are fixed every week unless re-arranged to accommodate other members on leave etc, and wages are paid weekly.

Candidates must have valid Australian working rights.

All our meat is brined and cured for a few days before frying and serving to our customers. Through this process our meat is juicier and succulent!

We have both fatter cut (ribrye) and leaner cut (striploin) to suit your preference.

Are curry a curry lover? One of our best seller is our katsu curry. The katsu is rested on a bed of fresh cut cabbage and golden curry sauce with some seaweed flakes drizzle on top.

Fancy some crispy juicy tonkatsu? Our meat is brined and cured for a few days before frying! So it's more tender after the process.

We are open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday or if you prefer lunch then Saturday is the day :p

Come visit us and give it a try! We have the ribeye (fattier) cut or striploin (leaner) cut. It will satisfy your tonkatsu craving!
