Lovely to see so many travellers stopping in to wish us good luck!.. so many disappointed that we are closed as they looked forward to their stop off on the way to Perth/Albany… to many, we were their “favourite cafe!!”

Many locals that have supported us from the beginning have come in for their last coffees and to project positive vibes our way!

We are truly thankful 🙏🏻

We started as two broke girls with nothing fancy..
still broke.. still nothing fancy😂 but we have succeeded🙌
And learnt and gained so much on this journey🤘

🌸New owners have taken over Chatterbox Cafe & Gallery, a nice quiet relaxing spot for a coffee and something to eat.

Well…. We did it!! 🙌

We successfully started, built managed and ran a cafe business.

2 years ago My daughter and I, took a punt, jumped out of our comfort zone, and bought some cafe equipment in a premises that was left in a state ( see pics below) ⬇️

We left our jobs and put all our time and energy into what would be 3 months of a monster clean up.

With Determination, no income and very little experience we were still able to create

‘Wild Harvest Cafe’…. Our quirky little cafe🤗

Tahlia was 19, spent almost a year on the mines FIFO. She completed cert 2 in civil construction and mining during year 12, as well as cert 2 in hospitality and business.

I have a diploma in Beauty therapy,
a background in retail and merchandising.
I was working as a garden hand/paver and most recently painted the exterior of the Johnstons house.
I also have 6 kids 23, 20, 18, 15, 5 and 3yr old 🤗🙃

We had absolutely no idea what we were doing 😂
We were excited, exhausted, nervous and overwhelmed.

Our grand opening was the 4th of Dec 2022 and off we went , Tahlia was the expert barista and I was in the kitchen.

There is a lot of sacrifice and a lot to
co ordinate to ensure the business is running smoothly often imapcting family time.

We soon became a regular stop off for many travelers that loved what we had created, and a favourite for many locals who loved our cosy quiet vibe.

we are overwhelmed and so grateful to receive so many verbal reviews of having “the best coffee from Perth to Albany”
Including “better than Melbourne and Freo”
With an online ⭐️ rating of 4.7 with 77 reviews in under 2 years!!

We are not locals of Williams in fact we only moved to WA in 2014 and Williams in 2016 from Victoria. However we feel like we enriched the community with our friendly service and commitment to quality, great food and outstanding coffee Karvan Coffee.

We have met some amazing people that have truly welcomed us into the community and been supportive in our business venture. We have loved seeing our regulars in daily for a chat

We would like to thank all of our customers for your ongoing support and awesome reviews over the last 21 months, we will miss you!🥰

And we wouldn’t have been able to succeed without all of our Amazing staff and we would like to thank each of you for being apart of our team.
And a big thanks to our family( although some being in Mandurah/Rockingham ) for love and support and always there to help.

It definitely hasn’t been easy to say the least and we have had our ups and downs. But we are truely proud of ourselves and hope we can show people that if you put your mind to something and have a passion you can do anything.

With all the adversity we have faced recently we chose to finish up on a positive note as we came in 🤗

We would have loved for someone to take over our business and continue to build what we started, unfortunately circumstances have prevented a sale.

Our Cafe will close on Wed 14th…

However we will continue to sell Everything off.. it all must go.... come in and grab a bargain!
