Happy International Chefs Day! 👩‍🍳

Today we're shining the spotlight on our wonderful Head Chef Emma, who has been leading the kitchen at the Eyre Hotel for seven years, with more than 16 years of hospitality experience behind her!

This year's theme is Food Explorers, and we reckon Emma fits that description rather well!

She's always exploring the incredible food bowl on our doorstep, seeking out some of the finest seafood and fresh produce from across the Eyre Peninsula and finding new ways to bring those local flavours to your plate.

But being a chef is about so much more than cooking.

It's creativity, leadership, mentoring, problem-solving and keeping your cool when the kitchen is anything but!

From supporting local producers and nurturing young chefs to leading her team through countless busy services, Emma brings passion, experience and dedication to everything she does and ever so quietly.

So today, we're raising our hats to Emma and our entire kitchen team. Thank you for everything you bring to the table, and everything you do behind the scenes.

Our booths are made for social huddles, long lunches and getting the crew together. 🩷

Each booth seats 10–12 guests, is fully sheltered and individually heated, with easy access to the Bistro and bar. Plus, there’s plenty of seating with a view of the big screen from every angle.

Halloween is always a big night at the Eyre Hotel, and our annual Family Halloween Party is back for another round of devilish delights!

On Saturday 31 October, we're turning our Bistro & Garden into Halloween headquarters for a family night full of spooky costumes, sweet treats and plenty of fun for the little ghouls and goblins!

Carlton Dark is now pouring in our Saloon Bar and Restaurant – just $10 a pint.
