Let’s help our Nepalese friends 🫶

As you may or may not know Some of our beautiful staff originate from Nepal and most of their family and friends still live there
Our beloved Aakriti comes from one of the villages that was completely wiped out by the devastating flood. Fortunately her family are safe but a lot of friends and distant relatives are missing.
We have placed the jar on our front counter and All money collected, SunnySide will match and we will be sending to Aakriti’s community to help them buy desperately needed food and clothing. Anything we can do to help

As I mentioned, We will keep collecting for the month of September so there is plenty of time to contribute. Even a gold coin donation goes a long way to help this devastated community that has a huge task ahead of them to rebuild their lives.

Today we farewell our OG cowgirl! 🤠 😭
I remember interviewing Maddie when we first opened and as soon as I saw her beautiful smile and beautiful nature I knew I was giving her a job! A young girl with a work ethic her mother should be proud of Maddie soon became a gun barista and a valued staff member everyone wanted to work with!
We will miss you so much Maddie, the customers, staff, Raj and I we will all miss you! I will miss our chats the most and you will always have an invite to the Xmas parties 😉
I won’t miss the country music but we will forgive you for that 😂
Stay true to yourself, don’t ever change and enjoy the new world you’re about to enter. I have no doubt you will absolutely smash it!! Xx 🩵
