The Drunken Poet is a cozy, authentic Irish pub, situated just near the Victoria Markets, at 65 Peel St, West Melbourne. We do free live music six nights a week, and feature Tribute Tuesdays, Wine Whiskey Women on Wednesdays, Open Mic Nights on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, and Irish Music Sessions on Fridays. W**e, Wh***ey, Women is always worth your Wednesday night at The Drunken Poet!

We're proud to present tonight:
Camilla Rose Sullivan at 8pm & Teresa Duffy-Richards at 9pm

Camilla Rose Sullivan is a singer songwriter from the Dandenong Ranges who fuses together the sounds of alt country, folk, with ambient rock. Her emotionally raw and narrative writing is amplified by her ability to infuse personal moments with expansive wild landscapes. She released her debut single No Memory Came in 2023 and her second single When The Tourists Go Home in 2024 this year with both songs being inspired by her time spent in East Gippsland on Gunai Kurnai Country. Her most recent release Home To You released in 2025 is a driving song that evokes imagery of highway lights plunged into the blur of hyperspeed.

Teresa Duffy-Richards is a seasoned singer/songwriter. A two time finalist in the Darebin songwriting competition, her music is steeped in the vast traditions of Roots music, Folk, Country and Blues, and the more modern realms of RocknRoll, Punk and Noise Rock. With a voice described as achingly beautiful, she draws comparisons to Sandy Denny, Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton while remaining all her own. Her richly poetic and lyrical song writing combined with her exceptional voice and musicianship has entranced audiences and seen her open for such acts as Tex Perkins and Matt Walker. She returns to The Drunken Poet on Wednesday the 14th of October with Joshua Jones, armed with acoustic guitars, harmonica and banjo in tow.

Tribute Tuesday tonight at The Poet with The Australian Doors Duo - playing The Doors!

The Australian Doors Duo brings the music, atmosphere and dangerous spirit of The Doors to The Drunken Poet on Tuesday 13 October. Featuring lead singer George and keyboard player Howie, the duo strips the songs back while keeping their unmistakable darkness, drama and late-night energy.

Expect Doors classics including Light My Fire, People Are Strange, Riders on the Storm and Roadhouse Blues, alongside deeper cuts for longtime fans. George channels the wild, magnetic spirit of Jim Morrison, while Howie brings the swirling, hypnotic keyboard sound that defined The Doors. A raw, intimate live performance for Doors fans old and new.

Lily Webb is a singer/songwriter originally from Manchester, UK. Lily’s love of folk and soul music can clearly be heard when listening to her original music. Her raw and controlled vocals paired with her vulnerable lyrics create an intimate experience for audiences. Lily plans to release an LP later on this year including songs ‘Happy Anniversary’ and ‘Casual’ which she will be performing live at The Drunken Poet.

Bringing to the stage a combination of Blues and Jazz marrying an array of ambient guitar riffs and skilful use of a loop pedal; Georgia Rodgers is an artist you won't want to miss.

Georgia is not only well known for her incredible guitar skills but also her voice and the journey she takes listeners on within her own compositions. This young musician takes the spotlight and captivates audiences through her ability to sing with raw emotion, joined with her iconic Telecaster Georgia's voice and her musicality act as partners in crime, inviting all listeners to be a part of the beautiful love affair.
