BAD LOVE'S 5TH BIRTHDAY!⤵️
This week marks our 5th Birthday, and to celebrate, we're having a special. Its a gourmet cheeseburger, for those who cant get enough wagyu! We source our wagyu from Futari, a producer in the albany region with a quality grass fed product that is buttery and rich. We've opted for a 160g single patty to keep all that flavour in the burger!
Not only an amazing mince, but have you ever had wagyu beef bacon? it is the best bacon I think I've ever had. Amazing. Its not cheap, but its worth it.
To go with all of that is our wagyu tallow onion jam - it will be the perfect base for our beef butter products on top.
And finally, lemon aioli. Stacked with slow cooked confit garlic, fresh lemon zest and mayonnaise, this sauce will offer acidity as well as a creamy base. We didnt even add cheese to this burger. Not because we dont like cheese, but we didnt think it needed it.
Instead, youll enjoy rendered wagyu fat in every bite, salty wagyu bacon and a fresh lemon zest aioli. This is a rich and extravagent burger, and the perfect way to celebrate 5 years of Bad Love at our little spot in West leederville.
