Gala Thai is ready to welcome you back! 🇹🇭✨

We’ve arrived safely in Brisbane, and little Leo was an absolute star on the flight. Calm, happy, and sending cuddles to everyone who’s been asking about him 💛

Leo’s grandma has arrived too and you’ll see her around the restaurant. She’s very chatty and full of smiles, but she doesn’t speak English yet, so feel free to chat with her using hand signs and big smiles 🤍😄

Today, we’re back at Gala Thai, getting everything ready with love for our reopening.

To all our lovely Gala Thai regulars, thank you so much for waiting for us and for all the love you’ve always shown our family, especially Leo 🤍

Google reviews matter so much to small businesses like ours.

We’re currently in Thailand and our restaurant has been closed since Saturday,
yet we recently received a 1-star review saying the diner was disappointed with the food.

The problem is…
👉 We weren’t even open.
👉 No one could have dined with us.

What’s more concerning is that the same account posted 1-star reviews to several Thai restaurants around the same time, which suggests confusion or unfair intent.

As a small business, every review and every star truly matters.
Reviews like this can really hurt, even when they’re not genuine.

We’ve already reported the review to Google,
but as many small business owners know, Google doesn’t always take action.

So we’re kindly asking for a little help from our amazing community 🤍
If you’ve ever dined at Gala Thai and enjoyed your experience,
we’d be so grateful if you could leave us an honest review.

Your real experiences help keep small, family-run businesses like ours going
and help balance out reviews that don’t reflect the truth.
