Opened in 1990, this Brisbane icon was originally started to serve the students living in the three houses above. In 1995 The Three Monkeys changed hands and major expansion took place, moving into the courtyard and across into adjoining rooms. Before the South Bank revolutions, The Three Monkeys was “the place to be” after a show at the Performing Arts Centre, often staying open past 2am to accommodate the performers. Autographed posters line the walls, from artists, to actors and athletes as a testament to it's popularity.
