I’m turning the comments off now — not because I don’t love a good debate, but because I’ve actually got a Roadhouse to run! 🤣

Thanks for all the support, laughs and opinions. Some people could do with knowing more facts and understanding before commenting but that’s all good 👍

SERIOUSLY… THIS IS NOT OK 😡

We really shouldn’t have to say this, but apparently we do.
Packsaddle Roadhouse is a BUSINESS — not a free picnic area.
Please do not bring your own food and drinks onto our premises. We don’t understand how people think it’s ok.
It’s not acceptable at McDonalds so why should it be here!
We provide seating, shade, toilets, cleaning, rubbish removal and other facilities for our customers. Keeping a small business operating out here costs money — wages, power, insurance, maintenance and plenty more.
We are more than happy for travellers to stop, have a break and enjoy our facilities while supporting our business. But setting up your own food and drinks at our tables is simply not acceptable and creates an embarrassing situation for all involved.
If you choose to bring your own food and drinks, that’s absolutely your choice — but please enjoy them somewhere else, not on our business premises.

We work bloody hard to keep this place going and provide a service to travellers and our local community. All we ask is for a little respect and common sense.

❤️ And to the overwhelming majority of our customers who do the right thing and support us — THANK YOU. We genuinely appreciate it.

When passing through Wentworth be sure to call in and see us at the Container just down the road from the IGA for the best and last coffee for 265 kilometres.
Open Monday to Friday from 6am.
Not normally open on weekends but if you see the doors up and and the flags out the caffeinator will be on..
