Come and say hello on our last day! We have a bit of stock to clear and will be offering discounted bags of coffee all day, alongside pastries and cabinet items.

After a long wait, the time has finally come for our ceiling to be replaced following its collapse late last year.

While we’re a little sad that we’ll need to close for around two weeks, we’re also really looking forward to taking a much-needed breather and coming back refreshed, recharged, and ready for what’s next.

As with any small business, closing our doors for a couple of weeks will put some pressure on our cash flow. So, if you’re able to pop in and grab a coffee, breakfast, lunch, or some coffee beans before we hang up our aprons for a little while, we’d be so incredibly grateful.

We’re doing our best to manage our stock leading into the closure, so there’s a good chance we’ll sell out of a few things here and there. Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and continued support - it honestly means the world to us.

We’ll be back before you know it, and we can’t wait to welcome you back into a fresh new space. ❤️

Today we were really excited to celebrate a big milestone - hitting 7 years in business & having a little ‘happy birthday’ to Umu. Unfortunately, in other plans (pretty fitting for small business really) our roof collapsed overnight.

So grateful it happened when nobody was in the shop which means thankfully everybody is completely fine, but … what the heck, universe?

We’ll be continuing to operate with some modified dining and probably taking some time to mentally process the year so far … it’s been a doozy.

Thanks for all of your support. We will be back soon with a gratitude post for our birthday. For now, we are just going to take a deep breath and try to laugh it off (otherwise we might cry).

See you all at 5 am tomorrow! No more surprises, please.
