I don’t normally post about Rube’s art, but…
‘I declare a thumb war’ is 3 banners x 10mts each and she sewed blood, sweat and tears to get them done.
They’re about the way our communication has become introverted on small screens,
that our written history is in short, brief snaps. These are her conversations writ large, not hidden and lost!
Her work is increasingly about advocating for social awareness on many levels.
On Friday we went to the group exhibition at Red Gallery that Rube is part of.
Happy for her to see her work up and even happier to see the woman she is and the issues that motivate her.
