Bardi’s Café would like to let Community know that Saturday 11th March will be our last day operating. This has not been an easy decision to make as we have been committed to providing the local Community and beyond with a unique Café that is known more for being ‘Grandma’s Home’, with quality service and food. The time has come for me to focus on our children, family & new adventures together.
It has been an amazing time being part of our Community’s lives, in small and larger ways, with the memories of our beloved regulars, stories and the connections we have made always being with us.
I always knew I created Bardi’s for my Great Grandma and for her to be resting at peace knowing what she had not been able to know before her passing. She is now after my journey home to Country. Life is Chapters of a Book and this Chapter for us has ended and the next ready to be written.
To the awesome staff we have now, we appreciate your support, understanding and we know there are great times ahead for all of you. Thank You. To those staff that have become part of our family, for caring and embracing our vision, holding our precious space, we have no words only an abundance of gratitude for you. Thank You. ** For my dearest friend who ‘saw me’, you will always be the smiling, gracious, force of energy that brightened my life and are always with me.
We will be leasing the property either as an existing Café or if there is someone with a daydream of creating a space that is just for them, then please feel free to contact us via PM on our page.
We are grateful, humbled and honoured to have been a part of this Community.
