Fair warning: the dessert menu is doing its best work of the year right now.

Artisan Bread and Butter Pudding with fresh cream and mixed berries. A Hazelnut and Black Cherry Chocolate Mousse with cherry compote and whipped vanilla bean mascarpone. And the Affogato — Baileys, Kahlua, Frangelico, or whichever liqueur calls your name.

Meet Executive Chef Cass Ford. 👩‍🍳

With 26 years of kitchen experience and the skills of a qualified butcher, Cass brings a quiet confidence to the Rupert's grill. But her real secret? She still talks to the farmers.

Her philosophy is rooted right here in our region. From John Dee beef and Pine Tree Farms lamb to Dough Joe Sourdough and Itchy Feet Honey, she cooks with what our trusted local producers are most proud of.

For Cass, this winter menu isn’t just about a quick main course. It's about settling in for three courses and losing track of time with good company. As she puts it:

Escape the winter chill and settle in for an unforgettable weekend at Rupert's. From tomorrow night through to Sunday, the brilliant Freud Squad will be filling the room with live jazz to celebrate the final weekend of Jumpers and Jazz in July.

Pair the incredible music with our warming, locally sourced winter menu. Savour a minimum of two courses per person, and we'll take care of the entertainment—the band is completely on the house.

The Jumpers and Jazz spirit is officially taking over Warwick, and it seems we aren't the only ones with burgers on the brain.

While you can't take a bite out of the incredible yarn-bombed creations around town, you can always satisfy the real craving with us. Trumpet, vocals, and a dining room that didn't want the night to end. Thank you to Electro Swiggety soloist Tara Neilsen and everyone who joined us for Saturday's Jumpers & Jazz dinner. The evening was beautiful from start to finish.

The festival isn't done with us yet. From this Friday to Sunday, 24 to 26 July, the Freud Squad settle in at Rupert's with live jazz alongside dinner.

Tara Trumpet solo artist from Electro Swiggety brings trumpet and vocals to the dining room as Jumpers & Jazz takes over Warwick.

Dinner is à la carte from Executive Chef Cass Ford and her team, minimum two courses per person, with a soundtrack worth lingering over. A few tables are still available — call us to secure yours.

Jumpers & Jazz is officially underway, and Warwick's looking like nowhere else in Queensland right now: yarn-bombed trees on every corner, The Red Dress on display at Warwick Art Gallery, and the whole town rugged up for winter.

If you haven't tried the new winter menu, take this as your sign.

Tomorrow night, settle in for an incredible à la carte dinner from Executive Chef Cass Ford and her team. Tara Neilsen (Tara Trumpet) will be live in the dining room with trumpet and vocals to set the perfect mood while you dine.
