A huge thank you to Auntie Jan’s Studio for brightening up our cafe window 🌸 🌿 These hand-painted terracotta pots are the perfect touch for the season. We absolutely love them.

✨60 Years was a good run⏳

Our old chairs were part of the Belle Vue for over half a century but it was finally time for an upgrade. We’ve officially replaced our vintage metal chairs with these colorful new ones.

We really appreciate our landlord, George Samios for supporting this change, and Taryn Fitzgerald for researching the best option to keep our cafe cozy and our carpets safe.

📝 Note on the new seating:

We’ve retired the 60-year-old metal chairs to safe storage to preserve the Samios family legacy. We've made this change for two practical reasons:

• Accessibility: The old chairs were far too heavy for many elderly and children to move easily.

• Building Care: Lighter chairs prevent further damage to the cafe’s carpets and floor.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all in the refreshed space. 🌈✨

A beautiful piece of Belle Vue’s story 🤍

We really appreciate our lovely landlord, George Samios, for gifting us this framed photo of the café from what looks like the 60s or 70s.

I’m so happy to see another part of Belle Vue Café’s history, it’s incredibly special to see how it once was.
Grateful to George for sharing this memory with us and proud to carry the story forward.

A sweet success from our kitchen! 🍪✨
Last week, Zac tried baking scones for the very first time and absolutely nailed it 🙌 Not only was it his first time baking, but also our first batch of date scones at Belle Vue Café.

Even those who usually aren’t fans of dates polished off every bite. 👏 Well done, Zac!
