A little follow-up to our last post…

From 1st July, we’ll be ditching the EFTPOS surcharge.

While our menu prices are increasing slightly, there’ll no longer be that extra card fee at the terminal. So, if you usually pay by card, it works out to be roughly a 30¢ increase overall rather than the full menu price increase.

We’re doing everything we can to keep things as fair as possible while juggling rising costs behind the scenes.

For as long as we possibly could, we have absorbed every price rise that has come our way.
Fuel prices. Supplier costs. Wage increases. GST. We have done everything we can to keep your morning coffee affordable.

Unfortunately, the time has come where we simply can’t wear those costs any longer.

From July 1st, we’ll be making a small adjustment to our menu prices. It’s never a decision we make lightly, but it’s one that allows us to continue serving the quality coffee and friendly service you’ve come to expect from Moo’s Brew.

We’re also facing upcoming changes to EFTPOS fee regulations, adding yet another cost for small businesses to absorb.
To every single customer who chooses to support our little coffee van—thank you. Your support means more than you’ll ever know, and every coffee you buy helps keep us on the road.

AND If you’ve seen the price of chocolate lately, you’ll know it’s also gone through the roof.

Despite the ongoing increases, we’re doing everything we can to absorb the costs because we know how much you love our loaded cookies!

So for now, our cookies will remain just $6.00. 🤎

We’ll keep fighting the rising costs for as long as we can, because everyone deserves a little treat with their coffee. ☕🍪

A big thank you to our loyal customers for working with us while the van was off the road on Friday!
Breakdowns are never ideal, but your support through the chaos means everything to our little business.

After years of grinding away, surviving rising fuel prices, broken coffee machines, supply shortages, 6am starts and the emotional trauma of running out of milk during peak hour… we’re excited to officially welcome our newest SILENT business partner: Anthony Albanese ☕🇦🇺

Now, to be clear — “silent partner” means he’s here for roughly 47% of the business growth, despite never once:
• changing a flat tyre
• panic-ordering coffee beans at 9pm
• fixing the grinder with YouTube and blind optimism
• explaining to customers why eggs suddenly cost the same as a small mortgage
• or dealing with the absolute chaos of small business life

But don’t worry — while we cover the risks, overheads, insurance, wages, van maintenance, FUEL, stress-induced eye twitching and every other expense known to mankind… he’ll be first in line when there’s finally a profit left over 😂

Honestly, fair play. Best silent partner we’ve ever had. Never lifts a finger and somehow still gets paid.
