This one means a lot to us.

Zac Stack is officially a fully qualified Chef! 👏

Zac started with Black Gold as an apprentice, and there’s one little story from those early days that we’ve never forgotten.

When Zac first started, he was asked what he wanted to do later in life.

His answer was pretty simple:

“I’m going to work here.” Well mate… You called it!

We’ve had the privilege of watching Zac grow from a school kid learning the ropes into a fully qualified chef and an absolutely integral part of The Crib Room.

But the qualification is only part of why we’re so proud of him.

Zac genuinely cares. He works hard. He turns up. He backs his teammates and, when you need someone, Zack is the bloke you can rely on.

That means a hell of a lot in our business.

He does his family, himself and Black Gold enormous credit, and seeing a young bloke come through
to become the chef and person he is today is something we're incredibly proud of.

Turns out young Zac knew exactly what he was talking about all those years ago. 😂

Congratulations! Fully qualified and thoroughly deserved. 👨‍🍳👏

🏁 What a lineup!

We were thrilled to welcome the Cobra Car Club of NSW at Black Gold last weekend.

From iconic Cobras and modern performance cars to plenty of automotive passion, our car park was transformed into something pretty special. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped in for your hospitality, great conversations and for sharing these incredible machines with us.

Thursday night, we welcomed the crew from Moto Trekkin to Black Gold as part of their “Valley to Valley” Adventure. 🏍️

There’s something pretty special about seeing 130 moto riders roll into town after a big day exploring the backroads, valleys, and hidden gems of the region.

Good people, great stories, and a well-earned feed to finish the day off.

Thanks again to the Moto Trekkin team for choosing Black Gold as your overnight stop.
