Hello and Welcome to everybody and to any new followers!

My name is Kat and I live on a farm located near Wallendbeen, in the Southern Region of NSW! Where the farming is full force and the cherries blossom!

I am an avid chicken lover and have been all my life!

I started my page for the fun of it to show off the crazy and cool things about chickens which grew into wanting to share the love of my own chickens which turned into now selling chicks, pullets, hens and fertile eggs!

Terms and Conditions:

Pullets, Cockerels, Hens and Roosters;

I will state the s*x of the chicken specifying whether it is a “pullet,” “hen,” “cockerel,” or “rooster.” If the chicken is too young for me to know or not showing any signs of a certain s*x , i will tell you that it is “UNSEXED.”

My chickens will be health-checked prior to the sale whether they are picked up or dropped off. I encourage you to inspect the chicken yourself and ask me any questions you may have and I will happily answer within my knowledge!

If I have s*xed a PULLET or a HEN wrong I will gladly swap out for the correct s*x but there will be no refunds even if you return the rooster or cockerel.

Fertile Eggs;

FERTILITY
My breeding pens are fertility tested prior to eggs being offered for sale. However, fertility can naturally fluctuate and I cannot guarantee that every egg will be fertile.

HATCHING RESULTS
I cannot guarantee hatch rates on posted eggs.
Successful incubation depends on many factors including postal handling, incubator accuracy, temperature, humidity, turning, storage and incubation practices.
A fertile egg does not guarantee a successfully hatched chick.

DAMAGED EGGS
If eggs arrive physically broken or damaged, please contact me as soon as possible after delivery and provide clear photos of the eggs and packaging.

DETACHED OR
DAMAGED AIR CELLS
Posted eggs can experience detached, saddled or damaged air cells during transport.
Unfortunately, this is a risk associated with purchasing fertile eggs through the post and is outside of my control.

MARKINGS & QUALITY
While i carefully select our breeding birds, i cannot guarantee the markings, quality, s*x or future breeding suitability of chicks hatched from my eggs.
Genetics can sometimes produce unexpected results - that's part of the fun of breeding!

POSTAGE & HANDLING
All eggs are carefully packed for their journey. Once your parcel has been lodged with Australia Post, i cannot control how it is handled, delays in transit, temperature fluctuations, vibration or other conditions experienced during transport.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By purchasing posted fertile eggs from Kat’s Feathered Dinosaurs, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with posting and incubating fertile eggs.
You also acknowledge that i do not replace or refund eggs that fail to hatch.

Chicks;

Uns*xed chicks come from the majority of my breeds that cannot be s*xed upon hatching.
The only breed I have that can be s*xed at hatch is my Cream Legbars as they are an autos*xing breed.
The ratio of male chicks can vary widely, and unfortunately, it's beyond my control. I would like that all my customers fully understand this before making a purchase. If you're not ok with this uncertainty, i gently advise against purchasing any of my "Uns*xed" chicks.
I do not possess the skills of a professional
"Vent s*xer" unfortunately, which require years and years of practice and training. It would be very handy to have though!
If you are buying chicks that are uns*xed, it is entirely your choice.
I am happy to try and help you s*x them later on, but I can not guarantee that I will be right.
If you choose to get outside help on s*xing them that is also great as other opinions can help but I will not tolerate any slandering of my page or name.
If you live in town and cannot have roosters I will take them back but there will be no refund.

I hope all my customers can understand and continue the much appreciated support.
