Brew for Brenden: Share a Coffee with Love ☕️🤎
Each year on his birthday in October, our friend Karen honours her brother Brenden with Brew for Brenden, and this year it’s growing.
In 2021, Karen’s family lost Brenden in a tragic accident. He was a man with a generous heart and a deep love of coffee. On what would have been his birthday, the family began buying coffees for strangers in his memory. It was their small way of keeping Brenden close while bringing a little unexpected kindness to someone else’s day. They called it Brew for Brenden 🤎
What started as something just for their family has grown over the past four years, and in 2026 it’s evolving into Share a Coffee with Love, with the whole community invited to join in!
Most of us carry the name of someone we wish was still here. From now on, you can honour them in a simple way:
🩷Visit The Brew and ask for a “Share a coffee with love” card.
🩷Write the name of someone special you have lost, plus a short message if you wish.
🩷Purchase a coffee and return the completed card to the team.
🩷The Brew will surprise another customer with your prepaid coffee and card.
Your loved one is remembered. A stranger feels cared for. And Brenden’s generous spirit ripples through our community.
This isn’t a donation or a fundraiser. It’s simply a beautiful way to turn remembrance into kindness.
