Awards up by 4.75% as of July.
So it’s more critical than ever that music-loving patrons support live music venues.
Whether that’s attending ticketed events, buying a Parma, a Coffee, Cake or soft drink - to help counter the ever-reducing bar sales.
Sadly, there is no doubt that Right Now more and more venues will be questioning the business realities of whether they can afford to present live music.
People need to choose between sitting at home watching Netflix and listening to Spotify for the rest of their lives, versus going out once a week/fortnight/month (depending on their budget) to enjoy a real social and musical experience and support the venues that make the effort, and take the chances in presenting it.
