Evening All! I wanted to write a little recognition post about one of my most loyal crew members….Riley Manners.
He’s 13 years of age and heading towards being a CEO of a business (ideally a cafe he says 🤙🏼).
He is the most empathic person I’ve ever met and caring to boot. He can read the room in a matter of seconds and will notify me of the mood of the customer that are about to come up to him on the register or from his travels through the cafe, collecting empties.
He’s industrious and adapts at lightening rate ⚡️⚡️⚡️to help me and the team overcome any challenge - big or small 💪🏼
He’s sweet and kind and has a heart of gold and watches out for his fellow team mates and for me too!
I knighted him (we had a little ceremony for him ☺️)and I bestowed him with the title of “junior manager/manager of the other juniors” - and right this moment he is currently writing up the roster for the junior staff for the coming school holidays (in replacement of my 23 year old manager who recently left).
He has also been instantaneously taken under the loving and caring wings of my two new senior baristas and he can now pour the most delicious coffees and is mastering latte art to the perfection and passion he pours into every task he does.
Next time you see him - give him a huge pat on the back…he truly deserve it 🤗
