Thanks for the good time ❤️ It’s goodbye from us, 👋🏻but not Sundae Sesh. 🍦
Opening an ice cream shop between lockdowns was not how we imagined our new lives on the Cenny Coast would turn out, but we had an absolute blast doing it. We loved meeting the community, taste testing the flavours and providing part-time employment for 15 locals.
Unexpectedly our day jobs got busier after lockdown and also unexpectedly our family grew! We adopted our beautiful and busy two-year-old Stanley during this time too.
But while it’s “see you around” from us, Sundae Sesh lives on in a brand new location in Ettalong (soon to be announced) with a fantastic new family ready to keep scooping the good vibes. We will miss the parties, the after school hang outs and getting to watch our neighbours celebrate milestones with loved ones.

70 days straight ! That’s how long we have been open now guys and it’s been flipping amazing. Have loved getting to know the community better. Having regulars already and knowing what you will order has been a highlight. We are going to shut the next few Mondays so we can get in and finish off some painting. Trial some new winter treats and get organised for something awesome for Easter. Still open Tuesday- Thursday 3-8.30pm and Fri-Sunday 12-8.30pm. 🍦🍦🍦

Today for the second day in a row I got an amazing doorstep delivery and I can not overstate how much it rallied my spirits.
Lockdown is f*#%ing tough on everyone. There is no one that isn’t finding this hard right now. Especially small businesses. We keep on hearing it said that many won’t survive this lockdown, and today I got emails from two local businessesI love, to say they won’t be able to reopen their doors post lockdown. Great businesses run by great people.
It has fired me up to do all I can to keep supporting businesses I want to make it to the other side of this.
Here are some of the things I’ll be doing, and would encourage anyone who is able to do the same, for those you love;
-Prepay for future beauty/ hair appointments to help them with their cashflow
-Buy a gift voucher for one of your fave retailers to use when they reopen/ or buy from their online store if they’ve been able to pivot to an online model
-Pay for a family photo session for when lockdown is over.
-Buy a voucher for your fave restaurant
-Order take out. You deserve a night off cooking. Be sure to phone the restaurant direct as if you use a booking platform, the platform often pockets 30% of the money
-Sign up to your local gym/ trainers online training if they’re doing that until they can reopen again
-Send friends flowers to totally make their day
And some which don’t require $$
- Check in on each other. Kindness matters. Now more than ever.
-Write a positive review of your fave businesses on Google (this helps them rank higher on search listings)
-Shout out to small businesses on social media telling everyone why they’re awesome

Today I submitted petitions with thousands of concerned residents’ signatures at Central Coast Council.
The administrator now knows how important Umina car park is to this community and the need to keep it and enhance it.
Thank you to the thousands of residents who have placed their signature on this petition and to the many small businesses that promoted it.
