About Us: Hayden’s Pies is a South Coast institution. We take great pride in crafting premium, award-winning, handmade pies using quality local ingredients. Working alongside our General Manager, you will lead our high-volume, passionate production team of 10.

Key Responsibilities

· Team Leadership: Roster, train, and mentor bakers, chefs, apprentices, and kitchen hands.

· Production & Quality: Oversee daily high-volume output; maintain strict standards of consistency, flavour, and quality.

· Operations: Manage inventory, reduce waste, coordinate with suppliers, and optimise peak workflows.

· Food Safety: Enforce safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness.

What We’re Looking For

· Experience: Background as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, Baker, or Production Manager.

· Skills: Strong communication, calm under pressure, and an upbeat, lead-by-example management style.

· Baking Knowledge: Commercial experience with pastry production and lamination is highly regarded, though not essential.

· Credentials: Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to get one) and a current driver’s license.

Hayden’s Pies is looking for an experienced, energetic, and organised Kitchen Manager to lead our high-volume production kitchen. As a true South Coast institution, we take great pride in crafting premium, handmade pies using the finest local ingredients.
Working alongside our General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a passionate, diverse kitchen team, and ensure our award-winning standards are maintained across every single production line. This is a full-time hands-on position based at our commercial kitchen in Ulladulla NSW.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

We're known for our friendly customer service, legendary pies, and creating a welcoming experience that keeps people coming back. Our pies attract people from far and wide, making us a must stop destination for anyone visiting or travelling through the area.

We're looking for people who
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Is reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Works well as part of a team
- Is willing to learn and take initiative
- Willing to jump in and help when needed

Experience is preferred, but it's not essential. We pride ourselves on providing excellent on the job training and there are genuine opportunities to grow and advance within the business for the right people.

This is a casual position starting at around 15 hours per week with the option of more hours for the right person. Must be available weekends and early mornings.
