Paul Bevan claimed seventh on 35 points via countback from Jordan Neill, while Matthew Dehnert finished on 34. Robert Crawford took tenth on 33 points after a countback from Daniel Nolte, who also finished on 33.

Sunday Legacy Charity Day – 2 Man Ambrose

Sunday brought one of the highlights of the golfing calendar, with the Legacy Charity Day attracting a great field for the 2 Man Ambrose.

With teams combining their best efforts on every hole, there was plenty of opportunity for some big scores — and that’s exactly what the winning combination of Jason Brown and Daniel Vafiopulous produced. The pair put together an outstanding 63.25 nett to take the honours, capping off a terrific weekend for Vafiopulous and another impressive performance from Brown.
Stuart Tozer and John Barbour finished runners-up with 64.75, while Robert and Byron Crawford claimed third place on 65.50. Stephen Gaul and Riley Dean were next on 65.75, followed by Daniel Nolte and Mark Morris on 66.00.

Benjamin Gaul and Jordan Neill finished on 66.75, with Michael Crampton and Neil Bye recording 67.25. There was a three-way tie for eighth on 67.50, with Ryan Annetts and Dylan Freeman winning the countback ahead of Paul B***y and Steven Kell, and Matt Dehnert and Ben McDonald. Ben Hartwig and Jamie Freeman rounded out the leading scores with 68.00.

Beyond the competition, the Legacy Charity Day was a fantastic opportunity for the club to come together for a great cause. A strong field, plenty of camaraderie and some quality golf made for an excellent day on the course, with the charitable spirit of the event proving just as important as the scores on the leaderboard.
