Meet the owners behind Melrose Pizza ❤️🍕

We’re Russ and Alexis — husband and wife, parents to two gorgeous babies, and the proud owners of Melrose Pizza.

Russ’s background is 25 years in hospitality, and Alexis comes from 10 years in the corporate world before taking a break to focus on raising our family.

When we took over Melrose Pizza at the end of 2024, we didn’t just want to serve great pizza. We wanted to serve our community and create a place where locals feel welcome, where families can enjoy a great meal, where friends can catch up, and where everyone leaves feeling just a little happier than when they arrived.

Our family business extends beyond the two of us. It’s in the incredible Melrose team we’ve built and love, and in every customer who chooses to support us.

We believe that good food brings people together, and we’re passionate about creating a business that gives back to the community that has supported us from day one.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’ve only just discovered us, thank you for supporting our little family business. It truly means the world to us.

Small businesses don’t grow alone—they grow with the support of their community. ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful to Hume City Council for awarding Melrose Pizza both a Small Business Grant and a Shopfront Improvement Grant.

Thanks to this support, we were able to upgrade our outdoor blinds, tables and chairs, helping create a more welcoming space for our customers and enhancing the look of our shop.

Thank you to the Mayor Carly Moore and the Hume City Council team for your continued support of local businesses. We’re proud to be part of such a wonderful community and look forward to continuing to serve it for many years to come. 🍕
