Well it really is time to start a new chapter.
Farewell from all the staff over the years. What an amazing journey. Thanks for the laughs, and tears…Gerard & Peter, Mario, David Bryant and Peter John Young…
The cafe really was never the same without you. It’s time for it to take on another life.

This is post I never thought I’d be writing but the time has come…

Chaplin’s will be closing its doors.

This comes with a very heavy heart but also the excitement of new beginnings.
We never know what is around the corner and after 11 years of trade we couldn’t be prouder of ourselves for being a part of a community that has supported us right through the toughest times small business has ever seen.
Thank you Trentham.
Come in and say goodbye and we can laugh and cry over all the good times!!

We will be taking Easter Sunday off and trading every other day until we sell out of stock.

And finally… if there is anyone out there that would like the opportunity of taking on the lease, liquor license, kitchen and set up…
Come in and see Mel. It still seems like such a waste of a beautiful space to not give someone the opportunity of something new.
