Sakana Sushi Bar and Restaurant is located in a busy "Eat St" style hub in the centre of Townsville CBD. Having been established since 2014, Sakana has proven itself to be a very popular choice with locals and holiday makers who appreciate a high standard of food and service.

Qualifications & experience

Great organisational skills
Ability to create and present dishes to suit our Asian fusion/street food style
To work in a fast paced and friendly environment
Must have work rights in Australia
Ability to lead from the front
A genuine love of food is essential

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsibility for the general running of the kitchen including cleanliness and food rotation
Being a leader and mentor to a small kitchen brigade
Creating and costing new menu items
Asian fusion and Asian street food creation, preparation and presentation
Rostering
Ordering

Hello from Sakana Mooloolaba! We're delighted to let everyone know we're re-opening Friday 12th June. During the Covid-19 re-opening period we will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, closed Monday's and Tuesday's. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
