It is 100% handmade, 100% homemade and it is 100% delicious! The CHIMNEY Cake is traditionally baked on a tapered cylindrical spit over an open fire. The delightful Chimney Cake, (" Kurtoskalacs" ) has a history dating back many hundreds of years from an older region of Hungary, formally known as Transilvania. sewhere around the world. Huns' Delight, established by, Marti, in 2013 here at Airlie Beach, has been baking these delights for all the locals and international visitors attending our wonderful tourism area. For some time, Marti, has been listening to the many favourable comments from her customers and taken note. So too, give the traditional Chimney Cake, another twist in its evolution. Huns' Delight (Marti) has ..... developed the, Chimney Cone.. The sweet flavoured dough cooked on the timber spit is then garnished with fabulous spices, tantalisingly filled nutella, custard, whipped cream and topping. It’s sensational and with pure decadence. But lets not forget about our other delicious dish. sounds good, doesnt it!? so what is it you ask. Lángos is a Hungarian fried bread which became part of the country's cuisine centuries ago. The name comes from 'láng', the Hungarian word for flame. Today it's a favourite street and fair food and eaten as an appetizer or snack, usually simply rubbed with garlic and sprinkled with salt. Variations are to serve lángos with sour cream and cheese. Marti, would like to welcome you all to come try out these famous foods here at the Airlie Beach markets.

What an incredible day at the Medieval Festival!

A huge thank you to the organisers for having us! We had an absolute blast! Everyone looked great and the atmosphere was amazing.

Of course, we had to make sure Huns’ Delight looked the part too! ⚔️ We all dressed up and gave our van a special medieval makeover for the occasion. There were plenty of last-minute preparations, but seeing it all come together on the day made it completely worth it! ☺️

And a special big thank you to everyone who came and grabbed a feast from us! We know the wait times got a little long, but we are incredibly grateful for how patient, understanding and lovely you all were. ❤️

We hope your feast was worth the wait! 🍴🏰

Thank you for supporting our little family business and making our first medieval adventure one to remember. We hope to see you all at the next one! ⚔️

We’re so sorry to our regular customers, but we won’t be at the Willows Market tomorrow. We’ve been invited to attend the Medieval & Fantasy Festival at Cluden Park, from 9am to 4pm! 🏰✨

We’ll be back at the Willows Market next Sunday as usual.

We had such a busy morning and completely ran out of strawberries. You heard us say we were out of strawberries and within just 10 minutes, you came back with a whole punnet of fresh strawberries for us! 🥰

Hi everyone! 😊

We’ve got a little update to share.

As many of you know, our Hungarian lángos has become incredibly popular, and we’ve loved seeing so many people come back for it week after week. ❤️

To help us keep up with demand and continue giving you the best quality food and service possible, we’ve made the decision to focus solely on our lángos. That means that from this Sunday at the Willows Market, we’ll no longer be making our chimney cones.

While it wasn’t an easy decision, we know it’s the right one and we’re excited to put all of our energy into bringing you the best lángos we can. 🇭🇺

Thank you for supporting our little family business over the years. We’re so grateful for every single one of you.
