LAST NOOK OPENING TOMORROW!

Only ONE more day until our final opening of The Nook as a cafe 😭

NOOK ANNOUNCEMENT //

Sadly the time has come for us to farewell The Nook cafe, at least in its current form.

The main reason I started The Nook was so we could regularly connect with you, our beautiful customers. We've LOVED seeing you on Saturday mornings and enjoyed having a chat and watching you devour our delicious food. Hands down my favourite work day!

However, behind the scenes we are working on some really exciting things for Heavenly Hazel and our treats and I need to focus on bringing them to fruition, as well as enjoying more time with my precious little family.

We are certainly keeping the Nook space set up and will be hosting some of our own exciting events as well as partnering with other amazing businesses. Stay tuned!

We will NOT be open tomorrow but will be gearing up for one last HURRAH next Saturday 11th September from 8am until 1pm. All of your Nook favourites will be available to enjoy one last time.

Thank you to our lovely regulars and amazing suppliers and team for all your support with this venture over the past 3 years. We are so grateful and certainly couldn't have done it without your loyalty and commitment.

PS You will still be able to pick up your NB treat orders and Heavenly Hazel from The Nook. I will add some more pick up windows during the week and can also accommodate weekend pickups by pre-arrangement.

I am really sorry disappoint you again but we need to remain closed this weekend.

I've been unwell all week and now PJ is too. So it's definitely rest time for the Graingies this weekend.

NOOK CLOSED TOMORROW!

I am really sorry to disappoint our beautiful, loyal regulars but I won’t be able to open The Nook tomorrow.

Some exciting things are happening behind the scenes (can’t wait to share with you soon) and I am in Cairns putting in place the foundations for the next stage of our journey (read: not moving just partnering 🙂 ! )

Want to Try our new Indigenous Treats?

We are so excited about our new Native Treat Collection and would love for you to try them and tell us what you think…

So, we will be offering of our lovely Nook customers this Saturday the opportunity to try our new treaties (on the house!). Just to tempt your tastebuds we’ll be sharing

- Davidson Plum Ripe

- Rosella and raspberry truffles

And if that is not enough of an incentive, we’ll also be sharing tastes of our fabulous new range of Heavenly Hazel featuring delicious and unique Indigenous ingredients. Yesss!

WOOHOO, It's Nook Day Tomorrow!

After spending the week baking our delicious NB treats, I am excited to see you all, our lovely customers again.

Recently lots of people have asked about us opening up the Nook on more days. First, I am touched that you enjoy our little cafe and want to visit it more frequently. We are so passionate about creating delicious, wholesome food from scratch and LOVE seeing you enjoy it.. 🙏🙏 It's just that juggling our treats business and being the Mummy I want to be to little PJ means that I don't have enough capacity right now to do more...

I do want you to know that we can offer you takeaway treats during the week if you reach out to me via PM or 0414 401 744.

Anyway, we will be excited and ready to serve you our gluten free goodness tomorrow. Our line up includes:

1. Brenda's GF Sausage Rolls

2. Bacon & Egg Burgers

3. Slow-cooked vegetarian or ham hock beans

4. Dairy free grilled cheese toasties

Come on down for some... GLUTEN FREE GOODNESS!

Tomorrow is my favourite day of the working week. Why? Because I get to chat with you, our lovely customers.. Food is also our love language so we also love watching you enjoy our delicious, nourishing creations..

My Mum tells me it's going to be super cold tonight so our Winter Warmers will be sure to do the trick tomorrow morning. We have so may warming options right now..

1. Home-made GF Sausage Rolls featuring free range pork mince and a mixture of delicious veges, herbs and spices.

2. Bacon & Egg Burgers made with the world's best GF sourdough buns

3. DF Grilled Cheese Toasties with either ham and tomato chutney or pan-fried mushies and pesto

4. Slow-cooked baked beans on toast

5. Waffle and pancake stacks

Let's not forget our warming drinks like our Italian hot chocolate, chai latte and awesome coffee thanks to our friends at Specialty Coffee Traders!

Everything is available for takeaway. We get may pre-orders for sausage rolls. Simply text me on 0414 401 744 to reserve yours for pickup at a convenient time.

PSST... I THINK THIS MIGHT JUST BE THE WORLD'S BEST HOT CHOCOLATE!

You may be aware that I'm a serious chocoholic 😝 . Like I must eat chocolate every. single. day! It's no wonder why most of our treats are so rich and chocolatey! 🥰

So when I chose to stop drinking coffee I decided to create other really special morning drinks. My favourite is our Italian hot chocolate. Made with melted dark chocolate (yes Ratio Cacao's artisan vegan dark chocolate), secret spices and your choice of milk it is so rich and moreish and totally next level. I am not the only one at The Nook on Saturdays to have more than one!

Better still, if you do drink coffee why not have the best of both worlds and try our mocha 🥳. We've actually recently partnered with Speciality Coffee Traders and making our coffees with their delicious beans and a flash new machine!

This Saturday we'll also be serving all of our delicious GF Winter Warmers including:

1. Bacon & Egg or Vegetarian Breakfast Burger

2. Sausage Rolls

3. Slow-cooked baked beans (ham hock or vege)
