At A Touch of Salt, we love this industry and, more importantly, the people within it. We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside a passionate team who help bring our vision to life every day. Over the years, we’ve welcomed many young people into our business and have taken great pride in seeing them grow, not only within our team but throughout the hospitality industry itself.

Many of our staff have been with us for years, and we’ve been lucky enough to learn alongside them and watch them develop both professionally and personally.

Sometimes it’s important to step back and reflect on the journey of our business, our team, and the role we’ve played within the Townsville community over the years.

We strongly believe hospitality is, at its heart, an industry built around people. With that comes a responsibility to create opportunities, nurture passion, and help develop the next generation of hospitality professionals.

Our pastry chef Shannon Volker had a great time getting creative and providing a little sugar rush to our guests paired with The Underground Fatima's classy cocktails.
