Absolutely beautiful morning for the Riverway Meats BBQ Battle at Bartlett Park. Come on down and check it out, open to the public 9am - 9pm with loads of cool entertainment through the day. We’re cooking up some amazing meat from The Meat Barn Currajong using rubs and sauces from our great friends at Barbeques Galore Townsville!

Wow, what a weekend at Smoked Festival in Rocky. An absolutely amazing event, well done to the organisers. The competition area was the best we’ve ever cooked in, fully roofed yet open so you get some breeze. And we got to see Bodyjar play live, stoked! We will be back for sure!

Mixed bag for results, but we were over the moon with a 3rd place walk for our brisket and 7th place overall against some of the best teams in the country. Unfortunately our ribs didn’t hit the mark with the judges so we got the score we deserved.
