More than just a name—meet the sisters behind Kulur Trio! ✨

Have you ever wondered what "Kulur" means? It comes from the traditional Kuku Yalanji language, meaning "three." And yes, that refers to us—triplets!

We are three sisters who turned a vision into reality in 2023. Kulur Trio is our way of combining our individual talents to build independence, share our passion for great food, and create meaningful connections with our community.

While we all live with intellectual impairments and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), we choose to focus entirely on our strengths and what we can achieve together as a family.

✨ Eyvonne, Customer Service & Coffee Extraordinaire: Our vibrant, bubbly heart who makes sure every guest leaves our van with a warm smile.
👩‍🍳 Gloria, Head Chef & Culinary Creator: The soul of our kitchen, masterfully preparing food and curating vibrant platters with pure dedication.

🥪 Catering Delivery: National Sorry Day & National Reconciliation Week 🖤💛❤️

On Tuesday, May 26th, We the Kulur Trio team had the absolute privilege of catering for NQPHN at the local clinical practice in honor of National Sorry Day and the start of National
Reconciliation Week.

We were thrilled to provide a fresh, delicious spread to support the practice during such an important time of reflection and community.

📋 On the Menu:
Gluten-Free Sandwich Platter:
Packed with flavor, featuring chicken mayo, ham & cheese, egg, and roast beef with honey mustard (as seen in image.png, image_2.png, and image_3.png).
A couple of Large Assorted Sandwich Platters:
Freshly made and loaded with crowd-favorite fillings to feed the whole team (as seen in image_4.png and image_5.png).

⚠️ The Delivery Drama... 🚚💨

Every delivery comes with an adventure, but this one really took the cake! We had a major "move it or lose it" moment when two security personnel started yelling at us to clear out of the drop-off zone because we were apparently blocking a delivery.

The item in question? A tiny little mini-van... that they were aggressively calling a "truck." 😭🚘

To make it even better, I was inside delivering the food, so the only person left in the car was my visually impaired sister. She was sitting in the back seat, clearly wearing her badge and holding her folded cane—yet they were still standing there demanding that *she* drive and move the car! 🤦‍♀️ You honestly can't make this stuff up. 😅

A small sorry from us if we were really in the way of the “truck”! 🙏 We always aim for smooth drop-offs.

Despite the "truck" emergency, we got the vehicle moved, the sandwiches made it inside completely unscathed, and the clinical team was wonderfully fed.

Thank you to the practice for choosing us to cater your event. We love being part of your meaningful gatherings!
