Five years ago, we made the decision to move from the big smoke down to the Torquay and set up a little restaurant called The Stoop. So many people were curious about the name, to us The Stoop meant somewhere to catch up and spend quality time with friends and family. Over the years, we really feel like The Stoop has become exactly what we wanted it to be and we are really proud of what we have created.
But now, we have decided it is time to move on. It’s both a sad and happy time and we are excited for whatever comes next. This week, the 22nd & 23rd April will be our last week. So, if you’d like to come and join us one last time before we hand over the keys to the new owners, please book through our website or call us on 5261 6006.
We’d like to thank all our amazing customers for your continued support. The Stoop could not have been as successful as it was without you. Thank you for sticking with us even through all the ups and downs and the uncertainty of COVID.
Over the years we have had some incredible staff. So many fun times and so many great memories have been made with all of you. Thank you to all of you who helped make The Stoop what it is today. We couldn’t have done it without you.
To all of our wonderful suppliers, thank you for all your help with sourcing all of the amazing food and wine we have served over the years.
And to our friends and families, thank you for being there for us. Thanks for being there to support us in this journey from day one, thanks for being on the other end of the phone and listening, thanks for coming in and helping out and thanks for keeping us positive through the struggles of COVID. We can’t wait to see you all, maybe even on a weekend, not just a Monday night.
We'll still be around and look forward to welcoming you at our sister restaurant, Pearl.
