We’re excited to announce that the kitchen at the Howard Golf Club will be firing up again for a one-month trial and we want YOU to help shape what comes out of it!

This time, it’s half of the original Miners Kitchen team. Tracy is teaming up with her incredible friend Cindy Sandars a fellow food & community enthusiast who runs her epic gym in Pacific Haven GYM 'N' JUICE

We’re treating this as a community-driven trial, and your feedback will directly influence what we cook up. So tell us:

Torbanlea has a new place to eat! Texas Taco Company it is owned and operated by the lovely Robyn from Torbanlea Tin and Timber Home Decor located behind her shop.

We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh homemade breakfast tacos this morning, the tacos are made on site by hand and every part of the meal was made with love, care and taste.

Check out their page for all the details, they are running a few test experiences for $5 a taco!! Make a booking ASAP!!

We look forward to enjoying the chicken tacos next week :)

It is with a heavy heart (and a slightly overstuffed stomach from all the amazing meals we’ve shared) that we announce we won’t be renewing the kitchen for another year at The Miners Arms Hotel, therefore tomorrow Sunday 22nd December will be our last day.

The past year has been nothing short of incredible, and we owe it all to you.

As we were new to the area when we started here in Feb, we feel our connection to the community was fast tracked through eating with you, laughing with you, and making memories together. Thank you for making our time here unforgettable.

We look forward to watching and helping the Torbanlea area grow and prosper.

Thank you again and happy holidays.

What are you doing this Christmas Eve?

Dan and I (plus kids) at The Miners Kitchen are opening up the dinning room to everyone missing their families this year.

The idea is that we will cook up a storm, serve on a massive long table at 1pm and we all join in the fun of the day together.

There will be games, secret Santa (optional) and plenty of food.

We are orphans this year and invite anyone that can't attend their family Christmas to join us.

Cost: $20
Where: The Miners Kitchen inside The Miners Arms Hotel Torbanlea
When: Christmas Eve from noon serving at 1pm
What to bring: $10 secret Santa gift if you would like to receive one in return.
Dress: Dress up, dress Christmas theme it's up to you. Be comfortable :)

This evening, we invite you to experience the bold flavours of Korea. Our 'Taste of Asia' features Korean Beef 2 ways - as a beef bowl and Korean gim bap sushi served with rice, all for $20. This dish is prepared with medium spice and is full of flavour.

Alternatively, you may enjoy our Basil Pesto Chicken Homemade Gnocchi for $25.
