💙 International Day of Charity | 5 September 💙

Today is a reminder that making a difference doesn’t always require a grand gesture.
As Mother Teresa said:
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

At Tony’s Community Kitchen, we see the power of those small things every day: a volunteer giving their time, someone making a donation, a local business lending its support, or a community member simply choosing to help someone doing it tough.

The United Nations recognises that charity can take many forms, including volunteering your time and expertise, donating financially or giving goods to those who need them. Every contribution has the potential to make a difference.

Today, we say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who gives their time, generosity and support to Tony’s. You help us continue caring for our community. 💙

Keep the Carnival of Flowers celebrations going after the parade and join us Sunday 20 September – Saturday 26 September, 9 am–3 pm daily, for a colourful morning at Tony’s Community Kitchen.

To everyone who slept out, donated, volunteered, shared our message or supported us in any way, we are incredibly grateful. 🙏

Your support helps us continue providing meals, care and a helping hand to people in our community who are doing it tough.

Clean, good-quality clothing, household items, furniture and toys help us stock our Op Shop, raise vital funds and ensure every customer has access to items they can use with pride.
