Join us for a one-night-only six-course dining experience inspired by the Sri Lankan heritage of our Sous Chef, Sashika.

Built around bold spices, fragrant curries, fresh seafood and rich slow-cooked flavours, this menu is a personal reflection of the food Sashi grew up with — reimagined through the relaxed style of dining we love at The Kitchen.

Rather than a formal matched wine dinner, the bar will be open throughout the evening with local beers, wines and cocktails available to order as you please. We feel this style of food is best enjoyed socially — with a drink in hand, good conversation around the table, and flavours designed to be explored at your own pace.

What a fantastic afternoon of great wine, great stories, and even better company.

A huge thank you to Michael and Nicolette from Kyber Hills Winery for sharing their incredible selection of wines and the stories behind them. The event was not only enjoyable but also incredibly informative, giving everyone a deeper appreciation for the craft and passion that goes into every bottle.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for making the day so special. Events like these are all about bringing people together, learning something new, and creating memorable experiences.

We can’t wait to do it all again. See you at the next event! 🍷🥂

This place is straight-up magical, with rolling green hills, towering gum trees, golden light filtering through the canopy, and that fresh country air that just hits different. Spent the day foraging wild mushrooms in this stunning Victorian paradise and what a time it was.

So thankful for those who have and are attending our mushroom forages.

From discovering perfect patches under the ferns to soaking in the breathtaking views at every turn, this forage was equal parts beauty and adventure. Nothing beats wandering through such a picturesque landscape while hunting for nature’s gourmet treasures!

Starting tomorrow, we’re launching 20 Cent Tuesdays across all four of our venues. ☕

Each and every Tuesday, we’ll be donating 20 cents from every coffee, tea, chai and hot chocolate sold — both takeaway and dine-in — to the Southern Peninsula Community Support (SPCS) Centre in Rosebud, supporting people experiencing homelessness or hardship here on the Mornington Peninsula.

A lot of people see the Peninsula as beaches, wineries and weekends away, but the reality is that the Mornington Peninsula has the highest per-capita rate of homelessness and people sleeping rough across all of Victoria.

As a local business that’s been part of this wonderful community for many years, myself and my staff wanted to find a simple, ongoing way to give something back locally.

We chose SPCS because the work they do is hands-on, practical and immediate — helping provide food relief and support for people doing it tough right here on the Peninsula.

Hospitality has always been about looking after people.
This just felt like a good extension of that.

20 Cent Tuesdays.
It’s a small contribution from a cup that only takes five minutes to drink, but now that cup might help someone else get through their entire day...

It is time! The brand new menu is here. 🫶🏻

Our chefs have been working tirelessly in bringing an exciting new range to our menu this autumn.
And boy did they crush it…
Italian inspired twist to some great choices. From steaks that take days to prep, to risotto that makes your mouth water…Yeah the kitchen team have well and truly crushed it.

Last night was our team wide menu tasting to launch today and I am sure we here at The Kitchens can all say how yummy and delicious these meals look.
