Cafe on Foreshore
Opening 4th July 🎉
On behalf of Cafe on Foreshore, Tooradin, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be opening our doors on the 4th of July. We are so excited to be back — we’d love to introduce our team to the community.
Front of House.
We have Scott and Karlee.
Scott brings 5 years of extensive hospitality experience as a restaurant supervisor. His role covers staff training, stocktaking, coffee-making, and making sure everything runs smoothly — and that everyone leaves happy.
Karlee has around 4 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with experience as far north as northern Queensland. She’s warm, great with people, and makes a wonderful coffee.
Welcome to you both — we’re so happy to have you on our team! 😁
Our Coffee.
Our Foreshore Cafe blend is made from Arabica beans sourced from South America and roasted especially for us. We can’t wait for you to try it.
In the Kitchen
In the kitchen, you’ll find Nita and Dina (our owners), along with me — Vee. We’re not chefs, but food is our passion, and between us we bring a lot of cooking experience and heart.
Nita’s speciality is Asian-style cuisine. One of her standout dishes is grilled lemongrass beef, served either with salad (GF) or in a bánh mì–style roll.
Dina is good with wraps, salads, and breakfast. Her freshly made schnitzel is seasoned with her own secret blend of herbs and spices, served in a wrap or as a main with salad.
As for me, I come from three generations of cooks. My grandmother was a caterer, and that love of cooking was passed down through my mother and then to me. It has been my greatest passion and a lifelong journey of learning. My deepest desire is to cook food that makes people happy — and I know I still have so much more to learn.
To my previous customers and friends: I hope you'll enjoy the food as much as you always have. With love and excitement, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.
We are here to serve our very best to our customers and community.
Together, let’s kick this off with a big bang — see you on the 4th of July! 🎉

Please excuse the mess in our garden at the moment; we are working on it.
