This was the loot from Saturday nights baking frenzy ... We had regular loaves and batards , plus coffee & fig, and Parmesan and thyme batards all made with the gorgeous Flinders Single Origin flour !
A dozen loaves off to the community exchange day and one for the baker - QA is important after all ;-)

I was super excited to bake with the Flinders single origin flour on the weekend. First loaves in the late hours of Saturday shaped so nicely I was dancing in the kitchen :-)
Makes such beautiful dough but in the rush to get my baking frenzy out the door to the community exchange day that I forgot to keep a loaf for us to taste - so tonight is first tasting and I gotta say it's looking yummmmm

After mentioning them yesterday I just had to make some sourdough pancakes this morning !
A great thing to do: as well as being delicious, it was a great way to use my starter when I couldn't bake bread today. It always feels a waste to throw good starter away !

Has a great crackly crust, though it could have a bit more height. I might have been a bit timid with the shaping. Still feels pretty awesome to have made it :-)
