Its been a long time between Wedding cakes...and it was my Honour to make this one. One of the HEAVIEST Cakes I have made.... 4kg icing sugar, 1.5kg butter just in the butter cream... 4kg flour, sugar , 12 eggs ,half kg chocolate , plus more..... bottom tier 4 layers of rich chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache filling . Top tier 4 layers caramel mud cake with salted caramel filling. Covered in Maple flavoured butter cream.
Glad I didnt have to carry it from fridge to reception....but it looked amazing.
